Goodbye, NYC

Guys! I miss NYC!!
I can't believe how fast time flew there.
It's a dream of mine to live in a brownstone like this one day. Aren't these beautiful?! Upper West Side for the win

If you missed it, I did a weekly roundup of my favorite food spots, places I visited, or fun things that happened to me HERE.

So, after my internship at Tory Burch,  I skipped graduation to go on a cruise to Bermuda with blogger babe Color me Courtney.
I needed a little break before jumping right back into SCHOOL! Yes, that's right. I decided to go back just 2 weeks after graduation to get my masters!
Read a little more about my decision-making process and life update HERE

I'm a little nervous, to say the least, but I think this will be an amazing learning and growing opportunity! Plus, I get to spend another year at this amazing school, Florida State University.

I plan to return to NYC summer of 2017! I'm always on the go, so join the party and follow along!

Central Park in Spring

Spring has arrived in NYC! The tulips have arrived, the sky is blue, and I'm happy to be wearing dresses! I felt like Alice in Wonderland in the park this weekend. Everything was so green and even this tunnel was picture perfect.
And isn't this dress so cute?!

Needing a dress for graduation, a spring wedding, a trip coming up? I've put together some beautiful (affordable) spring dresses for any occasion!
And should I mention a lot of them are on SALE...

Week 5

Love living in this brownstone on the upper west side!
I went to the reveal of a new HP computer with Collectively and Color me Courtney at MILK studios! Yummy food, gold laptops, and origami!
Can't keep me away from 305 FITNESS !!
yes, yes. I got one too...
Well, my boss at work bought us all one. I couldn't say no #socute

I tried out Fly Barre this week- to say it was hard is an understatement. I left feeling like I had abs of steel.
LUSH on the upper west side!
It's finally spring!

Sunset is one of the most beautiful times of the day. But, I didn't have to tell you that!

I definitely am still getting used to this concrete jungle. Missing the ocean and sun a little, but it's finally warming up here in NYC.

However, I have some exciting news involving sun and the ocean!! I'm staying in NYC an extra week and... was invited on a 5-day cruise to Bermuda with Royal Carribean! I'm SO excited and can't wait to bring you all along- I depart the last day of the month. Stay tuned!

Week 4

My boyfriend came to visit me this weekend so we did a LOT (of eating) this weekend!
If you've been following along my week-by-week highlights, thanks! I hope you're finding new spots, being inspired, or are wishing to visit the best place on earth. because you totally should.
Check out Week 1

Started the weekend off ( a little early, on Thursday ha) at Spyglass rooftop
Breaktaking views and blackberry drinks!

Then, headed to La Biblioteca for happy hour. The drinks are very reasonably priced (5-8pm) and their bite-size appetizers leave you wanting to try everything on the menu. It was below ground, dimly light, but had such a nice relaxing/not overcrowded atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Friday we were off to more eating. Should I be embarrassed?
Los Tacos No.1 in Chelsea market is delicious! We then bar crawled to some rooftops in the area that I love... Biergarten @ The Standard, brass Monkey, and STK in meatpacking.

It started to warm up a bit... and then came Saturday. Or should I stay storm-aday? We headed downtown to Wall st. and south street seaport. Even though it was about 35 degrees and raining all day. Wall street was pretty empty so it was somewhat irky to be there. I felt like I was on a movie scene or at universal studios with fake buildings.

Not sure if he fits in. He didn't pose for this I swear.
After getting our feet soaked and walking a lot we stumbled upon this super neat bar out on a dock in South street seaport. Since it was raining it was practically empty. We sat for a beer and just watched the rain fall over Brooklyn and the current sweep by.
That night we went to a Broadway show, Shear Madness. I found the tickets half off on Groupon!
we LOVED it! It's a comedy/murder mystery and they use the audience to help solve it.
And we had dinner before at Bar Americain. I got the Mushroom and squash filled crepes- to die for.

On Sunday, we explored around Bryant park and stumbled upon a live concert with Bagpipes! It was a beautiful day to site see! I bought us tickets to the top of the rock, so we headed up 70 flights after a big breakfast at le Pain... I started to feel dizzy after a few minutes looking out at the views.

Lastly, to top it off, we went to Yankees stadium to see an MLS game! What's a game at the stadium without hot dogs and beer? It was a blast.
Was a weekend for the books!
