...To the beach

From concrete jungle to the actual jungle... I sure missed being in a bikini all the time. It's great to be back in Palm Beach where the beaches are empty and the water is 85 degrees! I’m currently obsessed with TRIANGL’s new crochet bikinis. They’re neoprene, dry super fast, and the crochet detailing adds a cute feminine touch to a somewhat sporty design. Although the summer is over, I can't stop finding any bit of sunlight to soak up.

White on White

When this dress came in the mail from She Inside I was very excited! The colors are so vibrant, the fabric is beautiful, and the shape/body is classy but cute. I didn’t want to wear shoes that distracted from the dress, so I went with one of my favorite white Faryl Robin pairs! What do you think?

It’s definitely a summertime dress, but this post may be my farewell to summer and to white...for now.

All I need for a weekend getaway

perfect day on the boat

Don't you love holiday weekends? It may sound cliche, but the idea of not having to tackle Monday and instead head to the beach, grill out, jump on the boat, and have a drink makes me very happy.
This Labor Day weekend I headed to Jacksonville, FL. I packed my favorite pair of ripped jeans, a white blouse ( have to capitalize on the white before it's too late), a comfy/casual dress, a sweater for the evening chill, and two sandals (one dressy & one for biking on the beach, of course).

I love packing a weekend bag. Truthfully I hate packing and unpacking... however, something about packing just for a weekend (and not a gigantic suitcase) excites me! It's a the perfect getaway; not too long and not too short... well, I guess any vacation is always too short.
Having a weekender bag you actually like helps make the whole packing part easier. I had a hard time finding a bag that wasn't too big to carry, but also one that could fit more than just one outfit in it. If you take a lot of weekend trips, or even just overnight getaways to the beach or a friends house, I recommend finding an awesome weekender bag like these...

Hope you had a safe and beautiful long weekend!
