Relax & Unwind

I am so grateful and happy to spend some time out in the Hamptons. Escaping the city once and a while really rejuvenates you.
This past weekend the weather wasn't too great, but my friends and I still made the most of it! We walked around South Hampton, went to dinner on main street in West Hampton, dipped our toes in the cold ocean, and had a lot of pie and glasses of wine! Although I'm sad the weekend is over, and it's back to the work grind, I am looking forward to this weekend...and I know you are too!! What are your Fourth of July plans?!?

When in the Hamptons it's impossible not to feel relaxed! The birds sing to you as you sip your coffee (tea for me, please), you can actually see the stars at night, and the cool air feels just right.
I stopped for lunch, obviously, at this cute (pretty popular) spot in Montauk!

Let me introduce you to my go-to comfy, but not fully bumming it, outfit. I absolutely love pairing sneakers with whatever I can, but sometimes its hard to still look presentable when all you can think about is comfort. Finding a pair of somewhat dressy sneakers can revamp your wardrobe and are a necessity for any weekend trip!

Here are some other pairs I own or wish I owned!

Traveling to Montauk for memorial day weekend was a blast. I've always seen the lighthouse in newspaper articles, images, or from a distance at the beach, but never took the time to truly explore and admire it. If you're ever in the Hamptons I highly recommend taking the time to travel to the tip of the Island! Not only is the town inviting, but the food spots and beach view are highly sought after. If you stay the weekend, check out The Surf Lodge, where you can rent the cutest beach cruisers and sit on the water for weekly concerts ! Another great location in Montauk is the Sloppy Tuna -stop by for a bite and with parking and public access right next door you can hit the beach after! And after all this activity, refresh and rehydrate at the Montauk Juice Factory - it's amazing!

Leads to nowhere...but Summer

Words can't describe the love I have for the beach. I feel happy, content, rejuvenated, and relaxed...I could go on forever. I'm so thankful to have had 3 weeks at the beach with time to reflect on the year so far and to prepare for this summer's journeys and challenges.
If you're reading this right now; thank you. It means so much to me that you all take time to follow along in this journey I am grateful to call life. This summer will hold so many interesting and fun experiences that I can't wait to share.

This is just a sliver of my life, a portion of my imagination, and a glance at my creativity. It may seem perfect, but I'm just a young girl who decided to take full advantage of every opportunity in my way. I enjoy doing this; I work hard and am grateful. Enjoy you're life, be content, and make the most of what you're given. Life is a gift.

...oh and I cut about 5" of hair off !!!
