Fringe

I stumbled upon this jacket in some random consignment/thrift shop back home. I have no idea where it's from, what it's past life was or where to find another, but I absolutely LOVE it. Suede, fringe, and excessive zippers fire me up. Whether you like shopping brands, high end stores, or outlets you can never go wrong walking into a thrift or consignment shop. The clothes have stories and a past.  Don't let your comfort zone stop you. Shop anywhere and everywhere. You never know what awesome suede jacket you'll find.

Welome in

Letting you in to some personal space today. My closet isn't neat, my hangers don't all match, my room isn't perfect, I don't own 5 bookshelves worth of shoes, but that doesn't mean I can't have a fashion blog and style all day any day. I tend to get bogged down when I stumble upon these major bloggers who's closets are like the wardrobe in Narnia. How many you have or how much you spend doesn't qualify you to be stylish and "blogger worthy." It's about making the most of what you have! Every time I walk into my closet its like starting a new blank page, dipping in, and painting something. Doesn't have to be a masterpiece, just YOU!

Oh... my room is decorated from T.J. Maxx and random shops around the states, which is why it is hard to link everything, very hard.
When decorating your next place consider making it eclectic. Walking into pottery barn is never welcoming enough to make it your home.

You don't need a gym...

It's only February and I bet many of you have already given up on those "new year resolutions"(although I hope you haven't). We all know the gym is a nightmare those first few days into the new year. Crowded or not, the gym always freaks me out. What machines do I use? How long do I stay? Am I even getting a workout?
Lately I've been working-out without any machines, just myself (and maybe a few weights). Karena and Katrina from Tone it Up have some amazing workout plans I have been incorporating into my workouts. I am by no means a workout expert, I just enjoy treating my body well and breaking a sweat. It really increases your endorphins and can turn your day completely around!

If you're looking to get up off your booty but need some inspiration then check out toneitup.com , or try and incorporate my workout into your schedule one day! No gym required!

Over the ...

The perfect over the knee socks are hard to come by and hard to style. I know I like to wear them around my house to keep me cozy, but when it comes to pairing them with the right shoes it can be tricky. Im loving this combo I styled. This dress is comfy, my head is stylish, and my legs are cozy. I also love finding the most beautiful spots hidden between the monotony of buildings and sky rises.
